Original artwork description
A black waterproof pen and ink wash plein-air painting sketch of an old Railway Carriage. A rather wonderful old but adapted Railway Carriage now used as a base for the Minature Railway Society in Tonbridge, that needed capturing. This is a plein air drawing done on the spot. I must admit I love these old vehicles. Machinery always looks great in this technique. I paint regularly with our local art group sometimes teaching diffent techniques and materials. Painted in pen and ink wash on smooth watercolour paper 300gsm. If you are a vintage enthusiast then this sketch will look lovely framed where it can be viewed across a small room.
