The painting Total Control depicts a person transformed into a sign of the system. A male face dissolves into the structure of a barcode: the black lines form the image while simultaneously erasing individuality, and the white gaps create a grid reminiscent of a cage. Here, identification becomes a form of depersonalization — a human exists not as a personality, but as an object to be scanned. The work reflects a world in which control no longer appears as violence; instead, it is embedded in technology, the economy, and everyday life. In a space of total transparency, freedom disappears not through prohibition, but through the fact that everything is subject to registration and calculation.
