Original artwork description
Here I have deviated from the traditional genre of portraiture to capture the deep emotion of this young lady who is facing some pain, but that is not explicitly manifested. The blue line evokes a certain emotion of worry.
I have tried to capture the rich colors and textures of the African American face to contrast with the rather bland grey background.
TOMORROW'S WORRY is a one-of-a-kind original work of art. It is produced using India ink and acrylic paint. I have stayed with my usual pallet of warm “earthy” colors.
I only sell original work so there will only be one original and no authorized copies will ever be made. The painting is signed on the front and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.
This painting will be ready to hang, out of the box. It will be mounted on one inch thick foamboard with a two inch border all around. It will have a hanging strip on the back and I include a “monkey hook” for easy attachment to your wall. It can be on your wall within five minutes.
