Tomates sobre Azulejos (2026) Original Watercolour by jahzeely sinai

Tomatoes on Tiles is an original watercolor painting inspired by the colors, flavors, and small everyday moments of Mediterranean life. The composition features a bowl filled with ripe tomatoes alongside two sliced tomatoes, set against a decorative tiled background painted in shades of blue, turquoise, earthy tones, and cream.

The vivid reds and pinks of the tomatoes create a vibrant contrast with the cooler tones of the background, while the transparency, washes of color, and loose brushstrokes characteristic of watercolor bring freshness and spontaneity to the scene. The tile pattern blends and softly dissolves in certain areas, moving the piece away from a completely realistic representation and giving it a more expressive and contemporary character.

The artwork celebrates something as simple and familiar as freshly cut tomatoes, transforming it into a scene full of color, light, and personality. It is a piece especially suited to bringing warmth to kitchens, dining rooms, and bright interiors, as well as to collectors who feel a special connection to Mediterranean aesthetics and lifestyle.

Tomatoes on Tiles is an original artwork by Jahzeely Sinai, part of the Abstract Nature series, with a bright and contemporary visual presence.
