To the rain. October (2012)Oil painting
by Simon Kozhin
£2,703.82
Original artwork description
October is a very changeable time of year. With an abundance of bright colors in the foliage in sunlight, a simple motif can become the subject of a painting. In this sketch I experimented with pulling soil, which allowed me to achieve the effect of something miraculous. Orange maples against the background of a stormy sky with a bluish-violet tint create a certain harmonious mood, and the green color of the grass is an additional color.
