"Tired Rooster" is a figurative artwork that features a girl seated at a table alongside a ceramic rooster, a piece inspired by the renowned ceramics of Grottaglie, Puglia. This region, the birthplace of my teacher Mastro Oronzo, is celebrated for its rich ceramic tradition.

The "tired rooster" itself is a beloved object of mine, inspiring this unique portrait. I tried to capture the interplay of light and shadow on the ceramic form, highlighting the textures of the wood table and contrasting colors of green and orange in the scene.
