Original artwork description
I was drawn to a group of scattered aspens illuminated by the low winter sun. In this lighting, the color transition from gray-green through hints of reddish-brown to almost black at the bottom of the trunks was even more pronounced. The predominantly cold tones of the snowy landscape created a perfect background for them. A snapshot that you can pass by without noticing, but if you are attentive, it will reward you with a caress of the soul...
