Three Curious Blackbirds III (2026)Linocut

This will be my third version of this image made initially as a commission piece, I have made this slightly smaller version of my Three Curious Blackbirds print, which was originally made a while ago and sold out.
This is the first one I have printed, and it will be part of a variable edition of only 25 linocut prints. This one I have used a beautiful neutral grey green colour for the background to my three little blackbirds, but I will be making other colours.
This linoprint is made up of 2 separate blocks. Because of the way I work I often don't produce a complete run of prints which are all identical.
The temptation is always to experiment, especially with colours. This is why I mark them with "EV" to specify that the edition is a variable edition.
Please note that as this linocut has been hand pressed that there are faint marks and creases on the margins of the image but these can be easily hidden with good framing.
As I am in the process of printing the edition at the moment, you are more than welcome to message me and commission me to print you your own unique background colour (as long as it is one colour, and not metallic, ie gold, silver etc) and if you don't mind waiting a little longer for the artwork to dry before I send it to you!
