This really is York!
I have spent many happy days in York with my family, walking the walls, admiring the daffodils in Springtime, exploring the shops and all the little alleyways, looking for bargains in the market and of course visiting the Minster.
I have tried to sum up the City of York in a nutshell. The colours of the stone buildings and the railings of the city walls leading you around the city with so many viewpoints . Cars, pedestrians and a cyclist......all heading across the river.
The painting is colourful and bold and is painted in an impressionistic style. It is all ready to hang in and is on canvas which sits in a white wooden float frame.
