Artwork description:

A very atmospheric image of worshippers' incense burning at Thien Hau Pagoda (officially the Ba Thien Hau Pagoda, or the Pagoda of the Lady Thien Hau), a Chinese-style temple of the Chinese sea goddess Mazu in Cho Lon - the Chinatown of Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), Vietnam. I really love the look of the fine white smoke against the dark background - there is something very soothing and meditative about it. Whenever I smell incense it brings me right back to the many various temples and shrines we visited in India and south-east Asia.
