Original artwork description
The old grainery at Lonetree, ND. Grain elevators like this use to be the heartbeat of every small prairie town. Harvests came in and then went out to feed the country. Dedicated workers loaded the grain into the train cars. In this painting the sun is setting. Not just on the day, but on a time in history. These structures are getting fewer and fewer. Semis haul the grain to giant metal bins. Everything is automated. The human element is being removed more and more. I will do my best to capture in oil paint, a part of this history
They Don't Stop Here Anymore is 16 x 12 inches on stretched canvas. It is gallery wrapped, wired and ready to hang. It comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
