🎨 This paneling creates a gentle, harmonious composition that perfectly highlights the glasswork, the portrait, and the Delftware. The whole piece is very luminous. I did not reproduce the crackle glaze on Vermeer’s portrait of the young girl so as to show her exactly as the painter himself saw her.
