There are too many things that we take for granted in the modern world. Before the beginning of treacherous aggression of russia that already took tens of thousands of lives of peaceful people in Ukraine and destroyed many of our towns and villages, I never thought how fragile our everyday routine may be.
In “The World We Have Never Seen Before” (created 2 years before the tragic events of 2022) I attempted to show the chaos and uncertainty we may all face if something goes wrong on a global level… If you look carefully at this semi-abstract artwork, you may find a human figure with hands covering the face, standing on the edge of an abyss, separating her from the chaos… Now in 2022 this artwork seems almost a prophecy of the disaster that came to my land with war.
The artwork will be shipped carefully and safely rolled in a durable plastic tube because of its large size. Rolled artworks can easily be re-stretched.
