A study of an old knarled tree base with an abundance of spring flowers beginning to take over the woodland floor. Drawn from sketches made and photographs taken on my daily constitutional with my small black canine companion.

Painted mainly in watercolour inks for the background and coloured pencil for detail, with outlining in ink on smooth Bristol board paper.

It measures 10 x 10inches (25 X 25cm) with mount so will fit a standard sized frame.

It is signed on the front on mount, on the reverse of the drawing and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
