Original artwork description:

The Wild Floralia is a celebration of flowers at their most untamed. Inspired by the ancient Roman festival of Flora, the goddess of blossoms, this piece is all about abundance, vibrancy, and the sheer joy of colour spilling across a canvas. Measuring 200 x 100 cm, it’s a diptych painted on two 100 x 100 cm panels. You can hang the canvases side by side for a seamless flow, or leave a little space between them for a more dramatic effect. I loved working on this scale, it gave me room to layer expressive brushstrokes, splashes, and fine detail, letting the foxgloves and wild blooms rise out of the chaos. Painted in acrylic and oil, it has both energy and richness, the kind of artwork that transforms a room. For me, it captures the spirit of nature’s own festival: wild, joyful, and beautifully alive.

Materials used:

Acrylic and oil on canvas
