Original artwork description
The Truth Seeker is a large semi-abstract autumn forest inspired landscape which is multicoloured and appears to glow in certain lights! 40x40inches. The painting was made by building several layers of vibrant paint showing trees and leaves and a gold path which leads to an exit beyond. A stag can be seen on the right waiting for the viewer to find whatever wonders are at the end of the path (insert own proposal here). Many of the colours are transparent and laid in verticals which give the painting an ethereal, otherworldly feeling. As a keen walker I often fantasize I will find a portal to elsewhere when entering woodland. I am not alone in feeling the atmosphere in trees which can be welcoming, happy, odd and sometimes even sinister. The deer stag is there as deer are often seen as spiritual guides and he is therefore the right creature to be there. Painted on deep edge canvas, white edges, ready to hang and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
