This is a variation on a painting that I did several years ago. In this case I had the old copies of the Financial Times newspaper printed with a high definition and laminated onto 4 mil architectural drafting mylar. I then painted the young lady and other items with acrylic. If I understand correctly, the newspaper no longer prints hardcopy, just online.

THE TIMES OF LONDON is a one-of-a-kind, original work of art. It is produced using acrylic paint and India ink. The mylar is tough, waterproof, inert, flexible, dimensionally stable, and it does not have to be stretched, like canvas and watercolor paper. The painting is signed on the front and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.
