'The that's nice painting' is both a slightly irreverent and tender piece about romance.
The anatomy of the hand may appear to be clumsy and lazily handled, however these perceptions are contrasted by the subtle handling of the paint. This awkward take on aesthetics is an attempt to contradict mainstream perceptions of romance. In a sense, I'm trying to be more realistic.
