Original artwork description
In this intense and delicate composition, a woman's face merges with the memory of an African sunset. The sphere in the background, engraved with the warm colors of the setting sun and a symbolic landscape, becomes an extension of her interiority.
The hand, painted in red, rests on the face as a sign of roots, belonging, restrained emotion. The absorbed and melancholic expression silently dialogues with the visual and chromatic memory of the African sun, evoking a deep connection between identity and interior landscape.
The edges are painted to allow the painting to be hung without a frame, the surface is finished with a satin retouching varnish, which makes it resistant to UV rays and the passage of time.
