The Sound of Stillness No. 1 is a visual meditation on the quietude of the natural world. Eschewing literal representation, the piece uses a rhythmic application of organic tones to capture the "hum" of a landscape at rest.

The piece was created using multiple layers of highly pigmented acrylic paint, with highlights added in pastel. It has been finished with a varnish to protect against UV radiation and dust.

Please note: The artwork will be delivered unstretched and rolled. It can be stretched onto wooden frames and prepared for hanging by a local framer.

Materials used:

Acrylic, Pastel
