This painting portrays a young ballerina. An abstract field of geometric forms and textured brushwork provides depth and contrast, surrounding the figure with motion and atmosphere. Created during an earlier chapter of my artistic journey, this series explores the grace, beauty, and discipline of ballet dancers. Painted in acrylics each piece captures the fleeting elegance of movement and the poise of the human form. These paintings belong to another era of my life , a time of studying the language of dance and translating it into colour, gesture, and rhythm.
