Part of my Siren Sisters collection, The Selkie’s Song is a large-format abstract seascape photographed from 200 feet above the ocean at Kilt Rock, on the Isle of Skye. From this dramatic cliffside view, a wave folds gently over, its teal surface laced with white sea foam—calm and powerful in equal measure.

The colours are soft yet striking: mineral teal, sea-glass green, and pure white, capturing the natural rhythm of the Atlantic waters below. This piece draws on elements of lyrical abstraction, where sea and light create a sense of movement and depth.

Photographed using a high-resolution technique fast enough to capture individual drops of water in mid-air, this piece reveals extraordinary detail—every swirl of foam, every glint of light suspended like sea-glass in motion.

Printed at 72 x 40 inches on Canson Fine Art Canvas, it is ideal as a statement piece above a sofa, bed, or in any large interior setting. Elegant and contemporary, with a subtle coastal atmosphere, this limited edition artwork is signed and numbered and designed to bring calm focus to a space.
