This piece captures more than just a landscape — it embodies a fleeting summer sensation. I wanted to portray that suspended moment before the rain begins to fall: when the air is warm and hushed, heavy with the scent of sun-drenched grass, fertile soil, and the promise of change.

Soft grey clouds drift lazily over the Carpathian hills, like distant, dissolving memories. Below, the land glows in rich greens and golden hues, alive with light and breath. Using my signature impasto technique — applying paint with my fingers — I created a textured surface that radiates energy and emotion.

This painting is a gentle call to pause, inhale deeply, and return to nature’s quiet rhythm — to that timeless serenity only summer knows how to offer.
