Large, dramatic landscape oil painting of the English countryside.
Bold brushstrokes describe the drama of this stormy sky, looming over the Cotswolds farmland. Light is escaping through gaps in the clouds, highlighting pale crops in the distance. The gorgeous colours of this landscape - pinks in the foreground and the greens of wooded areas provide warmth and richness. Blocky areas of trees divide this sweeping array of pastures. A large variety of brushstrokes, ranging form delicate to bold, contribute to the depth of this painting and hold the viewers eye and imagination.
