Drawing in pastel and ink on cardboard in a contemporary figurative style inspired by the small Sanctuary of Madonna of the Holy Water where, near Marino (Rome), from time immemorial a spring of very pure water has flowed, believed to be miraculous. Legend has it that, in a very distant time, a man at the mercy of his runaway horse was saved thanks to the apparition of a mysterious woman who inexplicably tamed the animal by handing him a bowl of water and then disappeared into thin air. She soon reappeared only in a dream, inviting the man she had saved to return exactly in the place of the inexplicable event. Following this indication, the next morning he immediately went to that place and among the vegetation he found, painted on a rock, the image of the Madonna with the Baby Jesus with a bowl of water in her hand. Not only that, but at the feet of the image he saw very clear water gushing out.
