This painting was selected for and exhibited with the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour at the Mall Galleries in London, 2023.
I have been painting salt marshes on the coast of Essex and Kent for a couple of years now. It’s a fairly undiscovered part of the country with wonderful light & unique scenery and I'm also drawn to the juxtaposition of the industrial buildings that are often scattered across the horizon...
