Artwork depicting the portrait of Padre Pio of Pietrelcina (Pietrelcina, 1887 – San Giovanni Rotondo, 1968), executed entirely in pencil, in which I sought to capture the intense soul and depth of an authentic gaze, expressing emotions with every light and decisive stroke. While still alive, he was the recipient of popular veneration of impressive proportions, and his liturgical memorial is celebrated on September 23, the anniversary of his death. In this drawing reality merges with personal expression to bring a serene and meditative energy into your home, an invitation to reflection and inner peace.
