I wait for my fragile self to find the courage to return ...

Gold runs across the surface and vulnerability becomes ornament. What has been broken makes us unique, wounds are woven into something precious, and the process of recomposition continues in its endless reaffirmation. This work wishes to be a declaration of identity, of existence, fragile yet tenacious, that always finds a way to sing again.

Sixth painting of the series "Resilience", inspired by the art of kintsugi, a vision of the world that starts from three basic realities, namely that nothing is eternal, everything is imperfect, everything is incomplete. Wounds are precious and every golden scar makes unique.

This artwork is made with acrylic colors on cradled birch wood panel. The edges are painted and it is ready to hang. The surface is finished with a double layer of water-based satin varnish, which makes it resistant to UV rays and the passage of time.
