Marc Veira (b.1980), better known by his stage name Flowdan, is a pioneering figure in contemporary English music as one of the early champions of Grime music since the genre’s inception in the early 2000’s. This ballpoint pen portrait of Veira, drawn on collaged texts and the front cover of The Pursuit of Music by Sir Walford Davies (1949), looks to celebrate the modern face of English music.
