Original artwork description:

This artwork belongs to a series called "Natural Flags", which are landscapes inspired by the works of landscape painters, they can also be from trips I have made, by photographs of places I have seen in magazines or internet, or listening to music.
In this case, this landscape tells us to look at a puddle in a wooded area, although those trees could also be like drops that fall from the sky.
Water that falls and seeps into the earth, but that sometimes remains stagnant on the surface so that the different living beings that inhabit that surface can make use of it, like that bird that seems to fly closer to drink or clean itself in the puddle. It could also be that what rains are words and then the puddle would be like a book that serves to share accumulated knowledge and not hidden to quench the thirst for knowledge. Those trees could even been like people represented by they halos or movement.
The canvas has painted edges in continuity with the front image, so it does not need a frame and can be hung directly.
