Original artwork description
The painting was realized for the exhibition ‘From sea to sea: Finale – Iceland’ that took place at Forte San Giovanni museum in Finale Ligure. It is a painting with surreal hues that brings together the reality of the Icelandic coast with the fantasy that characterizes my being in the world. The landscape represents the coast opposite the town of Stodvarfjordur, in the eastern Icelandic fjords, where in the spring of 2021 I lived for a two-month art residency.
Painted sides, protective varnish, signed certificate of authenticity. The signature is on the back of the canvas.
