The palace pavilion (2014)Oil painting
by Simon Kozhin
£3,560.03
Original artwork description
The palace pavilion. Kolomenskoye. In this painting, I poured my soul into capturing the gentle dance of light and shadow on the pavilion. Using oil, I blended impressionism and realism to evoke a serene spring afternoon, where warmth and stillness embrace nature and architecture. This artwork invites peace and nostalgia, bringing a tranquil and contemplative energy to any space it graces.
This palace pavilion is the only one left in the park from a large project. In spring, he is especially good. Brightly lit by the sun, it attracts the attention of passing tourists. Soft translucent shadows from a tree fall on architecture.
