This artwork is a great example of how an artist may paint a realistic night time scene with use of different shade of only one colour, in our case blue. This large oil painting is very expressive. Have you noticed the gaze of the dog that looks straight into the eyes of the viewer? This gaze gives a very clear message that strangers are not welcome in this pack.
