I painted this 24x18'' oil on canvas recently from the slipway at Naburn, just south of York. It is in a becoming, cream, wooden frame.
I am a plein-air painter - I paint outside, directly in front of the subject. This, I think, gives my work a vibrancy and life sadly lacking in much of studio painting.
