Dimensions: 12 x 16 inch 30.5 cm x 40.7 cm oil on canvas 280g, Acid-free, 100% unbleached cotton pre-primed.
Hand-signed at the bottom right corner and at the back of the painting.
Gloss Varnished
As part of the Trotternish ridge, the Storr was created by a massive ancient landside, leaving one of the most photographed landscapes in the world. Painting cliffs and mountains has been one of my obsessions recently; combining them with the beauty of the ocean or the lake brought a different kind of meaning to me. My aim with this painting was to make it feel magically dramatic with a combination of green and purple colours.
I use the highest-grade archival materials in creating this artwork to ensure that this painting is ready to withstand the ages. All of my Originals come with a Certificate of Authenticity.
The painting surface is protected with a coat of Gamvar varnish. The painting is unframed, it is wired in the back on the stretcher bars and ready to hang.
