One of the many things I love about horses is their inquisitive nature and the fact that they look with their whole bodies. This horse's posture tells us that something has caught their eye and they are giving it closer attention, if a little tentatively.
This one of a kind sculpture was constructed by scrunching tin foil over a basic wire armature. I then built up the detail with many layers of paper and glue. I also incorporated plaster and fine gauze to create texture. A water based resin coating provides extra strength and rigidity.
I only charge one set of postage per order. If you buy more than one piece and happen to be charged additional postage at checkout I will refund.
Wire, tin foil, paper, resins, paint, varnish.
