This is a painting based on Edward Steichen’s 1904 photograph The Pond-Moonlight, elements of which came to mind on a sepia night with moonlight illuminating a row of lime trees near my home. I imagined how a pond beneath them might appear in such light.
The piece is painted using exceptional quality Old Holland and Winsor and Newton Artists' series oil paints and mediums with the highest ratings of permanence and light-fastness. It is painted on professional quality Italian fine grain stretched canvas by Belle Arti and is signed on the reverse. The painting is 30 cm by30 cm.
The painting will be packaged following best-practice guidelines and despatched by signed for and fully tracked courier. The painting is signed on the reverse and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
