Original artwork description:

"A moment where the earth breathes and the soul finds its center."
Wind, Grass, and Inner Silence
"The Lull" is an evocative exploration of the invisible forces of nature. In this piece, I wanted to capture the precise second when a gust of wind sweeps through a meadow, turning the grass into a sea of emerald waves.
The artwork was created after the evacuation from Ukraine in the first days of spring. On the way to the Polish border, I drove past endless fields, and beautiful hills, where the first grasses were beginning to wake up. I saw the silence and beauty of nature, it was still sleeping: huge forests were visible on the horizon, the land was still unplowed, black and immeasurable.

This is not just a landscape; it is a psychological space. It represents that brief, precious pause—the lull—where the chaos of the world fades away, leaving only the rhythmic movement of nature.

I created this work using a palette knife and brushes, allowing for thick, gestural strokes that give the painting a physical presence.

Color Palette: A sophisticated range of greens—from deep forest to bright lime—contrasted with earthy tones, creating a sense of freshness and vitality.
The sides are meticulously painted in deep black, providing a clean, contemporary "gallery look." No framing is required; it is ready to be a centerpiece on your wall immediately.

Protection: Finished with a professional UV-protective varnish to ensure the colors remain vibrant and the surface is protected for generations.

Materials used:

canvas, acrylic paint and acrylic varnish
