Original artwork description
It happened between winter and spring. I was at an international plein air in Lithuania and one wonderful sunny day white, fluffy snow fell. I painted several works that day to have time to realize all the ideas that arose with this beautiful snowfall!
I created this fragment of the motif with red houses in my favorite expressionist style. I wanted to convey the gentle snow with pasty and bold strokes.
My works are created in an expressionist style, supported and based on fundamental knowledge of realistic and impressionist painting schools. Quality oil paints were used in the creation of the painting. It is made and shipped on a pre-stretched canvas on a wooden frame. The work is ready to hang and has painted edges. The artwork is signed on the front and back and comes with a certificate of authenticity. Please note that colors and saturation in the photo may slightly differ from the originals—monitor settings may also affect them.
