Original artwork description
This is the 85th piece in my series of PMS Micro Paintings, where I paint unique mini artworks on antique and unique miniature frames. Unlike a normal painting where the frame is bought afterwards, I let the unique frame inspire each individual and unique PMS Micro Painting in the series. This painting was painted on a 4" x 4" coaster utilizing two of my favorite techniques that I have been working to master over the years. It is the perfect blend of Pop Surrealism and my colorful, textured Abstracts. This piece has a somewhat sinister and science fiction theme to it. A playful and surreal idea of what the last day on earth might look like from afar. The deep swirling blues and gold of the frame really work well to compliment each other. This is a unique painting and frame like no other. Buy it together with "Blending In" to own the series!
