Due to its size, this artwork ships rolled in a tube. This is safer for the artwork in transit. Your local picture framers can re stretch the artwork to hang.
The Last Bright Thing captures that fragile, electric moment when memory and hope refuse to dim. That stubborn flare of yellow and acid orange pushes forward, resisting the bruised purples and deep vertical shadows that try to close in.
This painting was built through layers of controlled chaos. Thick impasto collides with soft atmospheric veils, leaving a physical history across the surface. There are scratched, urgent marks and raw magenta gestures that feel almost like a pulse beneath the paint. It is expressive, unapologetic and alive. It does not simply hang quietly. It hums. It breathes.
I painted this for the collector who understands that even in darkness there is always one bright fragment we hold on to. In a room, it becomes more than colour. It becomes energy. It becomes an anchor. A bold, visceral reminder that something luminous always remains.
