The blooming rapeseed fields in Germany are an unforgettable sight. A radiant yellow stretching for hundreds of metres. Bright patches so intense they almost hurt the eyes. But this beauty is very fleeting. I try not to miss this time of year and to paint a few such works. But this year I didn’t manage it. I found a field that had almost finished flowering and painted it in the evening. In the last rays of the setting sun. I really like the mood of this painting. I hope you’ll like it too
