Here is a new unique piece to add to my acrylic series. I want to create artwork that appeals to both adults and children.
A captivating original piece of artwork using intense colours, I hope to have captured the essential elements of the picture.
This painting is depicting the El Arbol de la Sabina, which means ‘Juniper Tree’ in Spanish. The tree is crooked and bent due to the strong winds that mould it this way. To add a bit of a story I have added some of my favourite Hieronymus Bosch characters.
Ultimately, what I hope to create is the most stunningly beautiful, luminous, delicious colour combinations. I want to put colours together that fill your eyes with light; draw luscious, organic lines that make your mouth water, and create perfectly balanced compositions that feel like a light summer breeze flowing by.
Perfect for adding a statement piece to living spaces that may create a talking point with visitors.
Executed in good quality acrylic paints, painted on all sides, and finished with a glaze of gloss varnish to protect against sunlight and dust. It just needs a nail or wall fitting to sit flush against the wall.

The painting is 22 x 18 inches in size and is on stretched canvas.

I am a painter, mostly in oils although I have begun to switch between oils and acrylics.
I love to paint, love colours, shapes’, and textures. I love the idea that a different story can be read into each of my paintings and each viewer may interpret a story different to another.
