Artwork description:

The Hill Path is a large square abstract photograph inspired by the dramatic Cuillin Hills of the Isle of Skye. In a Vermeer-like palette of deep rust, warm ochre, teal, and earth brown, the mountains take on an almost painterly presence, their forms softened and transformed through long exposure and advanced photographic techniques.

At the heart of the composition, a path winds quietly through the hills, leading the eye inward—an invitation to journey, to wander, to seek. Balancing drama and stillness, colour and form, The Hill Path is both abstract and rooted in place. It carries the spirit of the Highlands: dramatic, timeless, and imbued with mystery.

This piece is designed for collectors who value atmospheric, contemporary photography that honours both tradition and innovation.
