I was inspired by the idea of a dancer, stretching and leaping beyond the bounds of gravity. She's trying to release herself from all that binds her...her pain, her past, loves lost and promises broken. She is a projection of myself, the part of me that I know is forever tied to my past, a past fixed in salt and rust, but yearning to extend beyond into the freedom that surrounds me if only I have the courage.
