To me, this piece is incredibly delicate, profound, and deeply personal. Through the contrast of rich ultramarine, sun-kissed gold, and soft textures, I wanted to capture a state of being that mesmerizes me. While the painting breathes an exotic atmosphere, it is ultimately about very intimate, quiet emotions—the kind we often keep hidden deep within ourselves.
In this story, I explored the fragile balance between hidden power and absolute vulnerability. A proud, wild bird seeks refuge behind the tender petals of an orchid, which I adorned with tiny specks resembling a starry night sky. The bird’s perceptive gaze is an invitation to look inward, to connect with the viewer’s soul, and to share a moment of living wisdom.
Creating this piece was my way of experiencing absolute harmony with nature. I painted every single feather stroke and delicate vein on the petals with a specific purpose: to quiet the chaos of the outside world, to invite you into a space of contemplation, and to share the profound inner peace I felt while holding the brush.
