Original artwork description
The Château of Vullierens has an amazing Iris garden which they open to public visitation every Spring. Apart from hundreds of Irises in all colours and hues, the garden also has several sculptures, some small, some very big, all around the grounds. This year I went several times, taking photos and sketching on location. This painting consists of three different views of the garden, in smaller 15 x 10 cm "frames", arranged vertically._x000D_
I did sent this painting to a local competition and they stuck a piece of paper behind which I have taken off but has left a little blemish, which can't be seen from the front.
