Original artwork description
An oil and acrylic abstract expressionist painting on stretched linen painted in my studio in Brighton in late Autumn 2024 after a visit to Spain.
The oil paint strokes are thick in places and sometimes washy with drips of linseed oil depicting the sheer glory and richness of the flowers I observed.
This is one of a series of three small floral paintings inspired by the Villa Armonia garden - where I spent many mornings sketching with watercolours and pens in the nature around me.
This painting has a bespoke handmade white 'floating' frame and is ready to hang.
Materials used:
Oil paint and acrylic paint
Details:
- Oil painting on Canvas
- One of a kind artwork
- Size: 33 x 33 x 5cm (framed)
- Framed and ready to hang
- Signed on the back
