An original pastel painting. A garden in the North of Portugal shaded by a huge plane tree. I spend hours in there painting and pastelling away. I visit most summers and this summer I decided to pastel the scene. I created this around 10am when the sun was steadily rising, and some beautiful shadows were cast.
