I am a British artist living near Wimbledon in South West London. I paints in oils and pastel. My aim is to create atmospheric paintings, based on honest observation, conveying a connection to a place I have recently visited. Nature is my primary guide. Daily dog walks are a constant inspiration for painting subjects on Wimbledon Common.

I sketch and paint as much as possible from life, "en plein air," and return to the studio to compose further paintings, relying on recent sketches, photos, memory and notes.

I have been selected on a number of occasions to exhibit at the Mall Galleries (RBA, NEAC and Pastel Society), and have also had a painting accepted for the RA summer exhibition. I exhibit with several galleries in the United Kingdom.
